Conflict Resolution

Conflict in our schools, neighbourhoods, and our communities is a natural part of life that affects us all. The actions individuals choose to take when they are in conflict may be detrimental to conflict resolution or they may create the opportunity for resolution.

This Program aims to:

* Paint the picture of conflict as a natural organizational event
* Illustrate ways of constructing environments that will support effective conflict resolution with students
* Teach specific procedures to students to resolve conflict
* Teach specific procedures to teachers to resolve conflict
* Give teachers a degree of confidence in integrating conflict resolution education and mediation processes into    the curriculum
