From Good Parents to Great Parenting

Do you want to be a great parent to your children? Are you struggling to achieve this in today’s troubled world? Is the advice you are getting contradictory, perhaps even belongs to a bygone era? Are you struggling to keep your relationship with your children ‘on track’ but unsure what ‘on track’ actually is for your children and your family? Are you loosing sight of the overwhelming joy and love you experienced when you held your child the first time? Is parenting sometimes exasperating but at other times pleasurable?
If you are answering yes to most of these questions you are with the majority of parents in this day and age – you want to do the right thing for your children but you are uncertain what this actually involves.
From Good Parents to Great Parenting will give you a way to navigate through this parenting maze. It will provide clear, practical directions of what to do as parent when facing the daily demands that family life brings. To be a great parent, you need to put on the face of great parenting. The great parenting face is a blend of five performance roles – parent as wise leader, astute manager, coaching teacher, caring nurturer, careful monitor. What your particular blend is will be unique to you. This book provides you will the opportunity to learn more about each face so that you can apply the faces to your parenting. After all what children want are great parents and what parents want is to be great parents for their children. Children are our future, you are their hope. Go for great parenting.

Five Faces of Parenting Program

This program, the five faces of parenting, is very different from any parenting program that people would have done before. If parents come to this program wanting to make a difference then they will be able to. They will experience new ways of looking at the children, their family, and their parenting role within the family. Using the power of the group technique parents will be able to engage in positive self-help and, not only receive and gain new tactics, but also be able to share their wisdom for the benefit of others. In this the facilitator has a key role and will be a helpful person in allowing the group to gain the most from this program.
