Grief and Loss
Loss
through death is unique. It is extremely difficult to cope
with and requires special internal means of adaptation on
the part of the student. How can the teacher support the student
through the grief process?
Emotional Disturbance
Today is a time of tremendous change and transition within
the teaching profession. The emotional disturbances resulting
from these changes have the potential of creating an enormous
amount of turmoil for the individuals involved and the school
communities within which these changes occur. It is envisaged
that programs will fall into two categories:
Grief
and Loss Programs
Emotional disturbance resulting from organizational change
including teachers returning to the teaching profession,
teachers lost in the system, teachers coming to grips with
changing times.
